Not even. I tend to just tie these things up and go on with a stiff hand for a bit, and since this one's just a little finger, not even that. Take forever to heal all the way, and I'll have a bit of a scar, but it's the option when you're not rich enough to run to the surgeon's whenever you scrape your knee. I've gotten worse from scavenging in the junkyard, really, but the machete ones don't seem to close up so fast...
I had one that was about a quarter inch deep in my palm last year (from, ah, dropping and then for some reason attempting to catch it in midair- when it was a bit duller, of course. Damn, I was stupid then.) that just closed up fine, everyone kept *****ing about how I should get it looked into but all it needed was a little antibacterial and some kleenex to get rid of the blood.
