Im looking for a beam mod that uses a bean of rapid pulses of energy, (youve all seen the pulse cannons from Babylon 5 yeah? something similar!)

A shivan station, nice one which works? then i can start work on other things...

I haven't seen B5, but I did a weapons MOD that sounds like what you're looking for. Get it from my site (siggy) - it's the CapShip Turret Upgrade.
