How can I texture a ship well?

In TS3.2, I used as many UV projections as I could, but sometimes a specific side of the ship has a quite strange texturing. I would like to make ALL sides of my ship visible. With LithUnWrap(or whatever it's name is) I can place only one texture, and that side of the ship has the same looking.

Any suggestions?

So I would need LithUnwrap. But I can use only one texture using that thing. But I would like to give mz model at least 5 textures, so it can look fine.

Textures are called materials. Right click materials. Choose add.

Five textures would be an overkill on your model, if you're texturing a strike craft.  And I wouldn't use LithUnwrap to texture capital vessels; I'd use LithUnwrap in conjunction with trueSpace.

It looks like that you're just beginning your adventures in texturing, so I'm going to suggest that you use premade textures for your models.

I don't have the function 'add'. Only Open, Save and Checker. My version is 1.2.

Don't forget Blender!

I experimenting with making a high-poly model then rendering it then applying the renders to a low-poly version of that same model. :drevil:
I have big plans, now if only I could see them through.
