Anyone know of a good program to extract ISOs to the hard drive and a good program to burn them?

Now, why would you need to copy and burn ISOs?

You're so flippin' subtle, Stealth. No wonder you got yourself banned.

Anyway, copy/paste works pretty well.

Uhhh, that goes to show you don't understand the concept of an ISO or the difference between an ISO and "copy/paste"

A disk image file (or simply a disk image) is an exact binary copy of an entire disk or drive. Disk image files contain ALL the data stored on the source drive including not only its files and folders but also its boot sectors, file allocation tables, volume attributes and any other system-specific data. Actually, a disk image is not a collection of files or folders but is an exact duplicate of the raw data of the original disk, sector by sector.

WELL NO ****!

You'd think that you'd have figured out by now that you shouldn't be asking about it on a public forum like this.  It's blatantly obvious why you'd be asking, so just don't.

This thread seems a tad unfair to me. If anyone else asked this question they'd get a few comments about warez and nothing else, and hopefully a technical answer. But, because its Stealth, there's a (near)smackdown by an admin and a slagging.

For Christ's sake the guy gave HLP members info on a kick ass host recently, but no because he broke the rules once lets crucify him.

Stryke:  you can't help me when you don't even know what an ISO is in the first place

Shrike:  it's blatantly obvious why i'm asking for a program that makes ISOs?  Really?  then tell me what i'm going to be using the program for, if it's so "blatantly obvious".  ****, for all you know i could be wanting to back up a CD, which is 100% legal you know.

you were asking for it when you asked "now why would you want to copy and burn ISOs"? and i just gave a reply, saying i'm not going to say, because i'll be accused of promoting warez.

you see, if you notice my first post in this thread, i didn't say: "i want a program that makes ISOs so i can illegally copy a CD"... i just plain out asked the question, so no one would know what i wanted it for, and therefore no one would accuse me of using it for warez.

*sigh*.  can't do anything, can i.

And you were expecting... what after you made yourself known as the indiscreet warez trader in the forum and started making posts with shifty references to software used primarily for warez and saying how if you told what you were doing you'd get in trouble for warez trading again?

How does it feel to not be thinking most of the time?

Incidentially, any decent CD burner package (e.g. Adaptec's) will give you a full CD copier, fool. Go ahead and hang yourself with it.

CD Copier copies from one CD drive to another.  this only works if you have two drives, which i do not.
... fool.

admt it, you didn't even know what an ISO was.

No, not when it's fucking obvious what you're doing. If I'm known as a stoner, and I start asking around for places to get glass waterpipes, who's to say I'm not using them for tobacco? I mean, aside from common sense?

And that's what I'm here for, dum-dum. To annoy the people who deserve to be annoyed until they fucking relax and stop being stupid.

And if you don't have two CD drives, ****in' get 'em. It's not like they're the most bleedingly expensive things in the world. Hell, I'll sell you one, slighltly used, $100 upfront. No warranty.

You have issues, jefe.

Also, your comprehension of what others are saying is limited at best.

Damn, man, your kind makes us warez traders look bad. I mean, what kinda l33t kiddie is dumb enough to get burned multiple times on a hostile forum? Ya wanna keep at it, ya keep it ****in' discreet, and you generally keep it where it don't bother the easily offended, ya dig? Now shut up or ship out.
