I don't know if the carriers are dutch in origin but they did go under the Dutch flag.

I think I foud the part of the site where it would be, if "vleigen" means aviation, flying, that sort of thing.

Hmm, well as far as I can tell there's no mention of a carrier, but with it all being Dutch I haven't much clue what there IS mention of.:D

Royal Dutch Navy is the exact tranbslation for the Dutch version:  Nederlandse Koninklijke Marine (Though Royal and Dutch switched position) :p

ASW, dunno, but RDN is royal dutch navy, KNM in Dutch.

btw, try looking for the HMS Karel Doorman, it's been sold to argentina a long time ago, but it was a Dutch carrier.

I can't find a Dutch carrier, but I did find this ungainly monster.



I believe the French navy has a ship with a similar dome.
