A model of my personal favorite military craft, the AV-8 Harrier II jump-jet.  Modeled and rendered (crappy render as it is) in Rhino 3D with the aid of several pictures and schematics.

Note: those compressions in the wings lok much too dark.  I'll see if I can't brighten those up.

Hmm, somehow I always thought that the Harrier looked a bit different than that one... hmm...

  after reviewing my pictures and schematics again...I realized I screwed up on quite a few areas.  The general shape is right, but the dimensions of the turbines, the wings, canopy, tail, ect are off.  I'll have to fix these.

It needs downward thruster thingies. You know, those things that get to like 800 degrees C while it's hovering.

something dosn't look right on that... i thought those things (air vents or something?) around the nose where bigger or smaller... something looks wrong

I think it looks pretty good for a preliminary "How's this?" model.   Rhino3D RULEZ!!!!!!!
