Just recently I ahve been listening to the Anthem of the USSR quite a bit, and it has inspired me to write an anthem for HLP.
The tune is the same, and I've used the Stalinist lyrics as a base.

Here's my progress so far, it might not be historically accurate, but what the hell:

United forever in Interplay hatred,
Hard Light Productions will ever endure!
Our great Freespace forum will live through the ages,
The dream of its members, their IPs secure

Long live the HLPBB,
If only avatars were free,
Long live its members, it’s spammers and trolls
Strong in our hate of Microsoft
Long may our flag be held aloft,
Shining in JPEG for all men to see.

From guarding the Or-ff,
Where Harbison led us,
Our eyes saw the darkness of Shivans above!
And Setekh our leader, with faith in his renders,
Inspired us to build this board that we love.

and so on

Any comments?
