Pretty cool, huh? :) One of my friends is ordering one of those when it's released in Australia - he goes to the beach every second day. Personally, I'm hanging out for the DSC-P10... just gotta scrape together the cash, is all. ;)

Sony made waterproof cases for all the DSC-* series, so they're not totally new to the underwater world. The cases were pretty cool too, they even accomodated the zoom, and gave extended reach button-pressing buttons so you could still use it normally.

on a semi related note, has anyone seen the film Atlantis by Luc Besson. It is the single greatest underwater film ever, its SO beautiful and cool

blasphemy!! not everything has to be explosions and guns and stuff. That was like really the best example of the beauty of nature, on film...I suggest everyone watches it, cool stuff, especially the end...
