I think the Shivan glows would look better with a redder centre.
Overall I like them, although the terran ones don't match up with the texture.

The glows themselves are very good but if you look closely they aren't anywhere near the middle of the corresponding engine on the Terran ship. You'll need at least 3 glows to be in line with the texture you've got.

I noticed cause I used the same texture on the Styx.

I know that ship is an older version at the new version it is fixed.

What FT didn't tell you is his idea for thruster glows to replace thruster cones (models) on fighters. Afterburner = enhanced glow..

You know FT, you could have just posted a link to the thread in the DOTA forum....

Except that the game already does that if no cones are present; all standard fighters have glows at the base of the thruster model.  But have a go at it just the same.

Capships allways were SLOW in FS2..

While it looks good fro the bak, I wonder how it will look from the sides..?

Terran Glows = Uber.

Shivan Glows = Bleh. Too white, and they look like MS Paint kinda.. just something about them. Deffinitly need to be darker though.

yeah, but because capships are huge, not because engines are weak

I wonder what happens if you mount a capship engine on a fighter, it wil proberly be riped apart by the thrust the engine gererates:p

it just wouldn't fit, so you'd have to make the fighter bigger, and finally you'd have a... capship!
