I thought you meant the Babylon 5 FREESPACE MOD, which i haven't played.  yeah, babylon 5 is awesome!!!

They started on Toaster I think...and then went to Lightwave.  That was what I always thought.

B5 Season 1 is much more primitive compaired to what they were doing by Season 3, 4, and A Call to Arms was probably the best CGI they did.

The toaster is the Amiga hardware that Lightwave was bundled with.  Eventually it got unbundled and sold seperately from the toaster and then later got ported to the PC.

I agree that the CGI did improve in later episodes but I miss the way that capships slowly fell apart when destroyed in series 2.
 By series 3 they went for the more standard big explosion and debris route which wasn't as visually stunning.

Haven't seen B5 series or any B5 movies on DVD...if thats what ur referring in terms of cg...but legend of the rangers has pretty good cg in it.:nod: (holographic displays, weapons fire, etc)

o, no, I was just talking about the movie itself :) LotR ( no, not Lord of the Rings :p ) had good CGI indeed :).

Yeah; just like the Death Star. But they can do some damn impressive things these days... if you can imagine it, it can happen. That's amazing. :)
