A cookie to whoever can guess why this thread has over 500 views while other threads in the forum have only a dozen or so.



Hint:  It's got nothing to do with HLP being down and more people being at the VWBB.

It also has nothing to do with this thread having more replies than other threads shown.

WRONG!!!

You're right, it is the "vote freespace" thread, but the poll ended on 02-15-03 or something like that with less than 200 views.  explain why since then, over the course of 3 months it's gained over 350 views, even though it now doesn't even appear in the "show topics from the last 100 days"...

close, BUT why would someone link to a thread who's content expired 3 months or more ago... also, if so many people are linked to it and visit it, why does no one ever reply in it?

The "answer" isn't going to blow your breath away or anything, i just though it was pretty funny when i realized

true KT, i locked it about 4 or 5 hours ago (right before i made this thread) and i locked it for a very good reason.

anyway, you're getting close, but why are about 95% of the views from the same (more-or-less) IP?

pointless, but anyway:

shortly after that thread, the administrators at my school went on a banning spree, and blocked all websites not "school-related"... hard light productions was one of them.  the only way i could get to it, was by linking to a PHP file... in that thread, Knight Templar posted something with a link to Kazan's profile in HLP.  so at least 2 or three times a day, that was the way i got into HLP
