All the luck... 3 months ago, i get my computer upgraded... The day it comes back, i can't find FS2 CD1... :mad: i found everything else, even games i never use... but not FS2 CD1...

Im pretty sure that since i owned it, that this request is perfectly legal. Im asking if someone would be willing to burn a copy of, and then mail me CD1. I'd be willing to pay for the CD and shipping, though the money would have to be mailed, as i have no creditcards... If someone is willing, PM me or email me... In case its useful to anyone, like for shipping cost, see my location... :nod:

Yes but I think most of them are from the later CDs. Everything on CD1 is pretty much the core stuff and should be in the HotU download.

only have a 56K modem... my town hasn't gotten any HSI conections... I've already had one offer to upload it, but it would take at least a full day...

But can someone please offer to mail me one?

Im not going to, let alone alowed to, stay online for a day or two with 56K... If my town ever gets any HSI servers, maybe... But that will be a long time...

Who's your ISP?  Most nationwide dial-up(Eathlink, PeoplePC, AOHell) providers don't set a limit on how many hours you can stay connected, they just disconnect you after X number of minutes or hours.  

Get yourself a Download Manager.  I recommend Flashget because it has a autodisconnect feature that you can set for like 6 am or something and that way the phone is free when the folks get up.  

Then just "Set it and forget it" and let it DL overnight for a few nights.

It's what I do if something comes up that I want to DL.

Buy it from Ebay or something. It's not that expensive, being a 4-to-5-year-old, not-so-popular game.

i havent chcked, but ebay usually runs it 50-70 dollars since its hard to find... and i only need CD1...

The game on E-bay is actually very well shilled. There's always the same few names that are periodically selling the game every week or two and those few guys always push it up into the $30's and $60's. There was a guy who sold it for around $20 or $30 not too long ago though.

Hippo, I think I should be able to burn the first CD of FS2 for you. You can e-mail me for details if you're still looking.

just checked e-bay.. there are about 6 or 7 copies going for 99 cents with 2 hours to go... its a good try ;)
