 Hello all I am alive and have a pulse Anyway, my question is: If I post some concept art of a warship which I want to have a Freespace-compatible model of, will someone be willing to model it for me as I have absolutely no modeling skills whatsoever

Why not poke at some peoples ego's and then suggest a model-a-thon? Loads of people would be more than happy to make yer model if it ment they could show off.

You're right, I wouldn't have the skills  
hep, listen: I'll tell you a little secret: I didn't make any of my models, my ... my brother? makes them for me, and I take all credits
