I've just been playing OFP online, and in this mission I was squad commander, and driver of a BMP.
I spent about five minutes getting the squad ready, with the right weapons, and then into this BMP. I set off, and within 3 seconds ran over a mine, killing the lot of us.

Incidentally, what connection speed are you on? I've wanted to play OFP onlien for ages but, only having 56k, I've never really been able to get online.

Once I managed to kill my entire squad by shooting down a chopper that then promptly fell right on top of the truck where everyone else was waiting.

I laughed, they didn't.

Edit: In Operation Flashpoint, of course. What were you thinking?

I once sniped my squad leader and a 2 other players. Because a law was shot by one of them and came next to me so i started firing, they didn't like it:D

Also once shot down a cobra with a Sabot shell from the abram:D

I'll stick to Battlefield 1942 - Desert Combat mod...
I didnt like OFP that much, and you can do a lot of the same things with BF1942..

i'm guessing you're still on a 56k then;)

me, i've never really played OFP much(never bothered buying it) squad-based combat is never really my thing, i always preferred the 'ol "run and gun" method, where you shoot some, shoot some more, and perhaps later on ask a question or two:p

Thats what I like about BF1842

Especially with the Desert Combat Mod. Just grab an Apache or a A-10 and go harass some tanks....

It's better to go for the pilot section than the motor or fuel tank, reduces the probability of the thing coming straight down on you. At least, when you're talking real helicopters. Dunno if they have that coded yet.

Oh, and don't ask. Damn ABC Traffic Watch...
