is that functional or just decoration?

and if it's functional, what kinda weapons permit do you need for one of those?
i know that in holland you need a permit for a knife with a blade longer then 15CM or something.

Then I've been doing something illigal for about 6 years... I've had the police in my house a few times and they didn't do anything. Also I think this weapon permit is only needed for use outside of the house.

Besides, the police here won't do a thing unless you actually start attacking people

come on, the nearest police station is 15KM away, and the last time i saw a cop patrolling out here was at least a month ago.

but i thought that it was for outside the house, but there is also a limit to what you can have inside.

Yeah, I think its bull anyway. I never heard of such laws. Cause Katanas are legal (just checked). Only certain knives are considered illigal when carried in plain sight outside your own house.

Here in Canada I think the "permit size" is over a foot long... thats around 26cm I think.... bit more reasonable...

Its false edged, so its not functional. Though I do have a folded metal katana that cost a pritty penny. Thankfully I didn't buy it, but it was once owned by a friend, but when he died suddenly, his parents gave it to me. Its sharp as hell, beautiful, and can chop about anything in half. Though I've never tried. And never will. Its too sentimental. AAnyway, katanas are sweet weapons. Heres one I'm thinking of adding to my collection. Its sharp, and functional, but its not "real" as in folded wise.

I think it looks cool, something "different" along side the Real Katana and Narsil.

This is the site I got Narsil from. Real good prices and has every bloody sword you could ever dream of. So I strongly suggest it. Frost Viking swords to fully folded katana swords to actual samurai armour. Price range from $8 to $2,000.

Looks like Blade's stick, that does. I was gonna bring meself back a sword when I was in Mt St Michel in France a few years back, but the old man didn't want to risk bringing it through customs. I pointed out that he had two umbreallas with metal tips in the boot which would do just as much damage if wielded as weapon, but as usual his parenting instincts overrode his logical reasoning and here I am, swordless.
