As has been mentioned somewhere else, it's already in .avi I believe.  The .mve cutscenes are just the ones that show up in-game.

Sorry guys, but I desperately need to burn some CD's. I'll try to get the FS1 movies done as soon as I clear up some free room on my HDD.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. Oy, anyone ever do the FS2 endgame ones? If I did my numbers right that's the only one that's really vital to gameplay that isn't up here, and it comes to me that I really should be arsed to finish off that SCP package and drop it off at HOTU sometime. The Colossus one would be dandy to have as well, of course, but if it's a pain in the arse to upload these that can be left out.

Also, no, I don't want a lot of posts saying "I agree but am going to do ****-all about it". I know you have the ability to type and hit the "Submit" button, it's very nice. It's also not what I want, and after posting only two threads in recent memory here I'm already sick of people doing lots of talk and not much else- if you can actually do something, have already done so, or want to but need some form of help, post away. Everyone else, just shut up, or maybe take the time you would to post to get the files where I can reach 'em. No cheerleading. It occurs to me that since Interplay is out of the picture someone could also just send me the link to the place, seeing as I still haven't found what y'all were talking about, but either way is fine by me.

Nice thread-revival warning system, by the way. And if Joey's still around, thanks for doing all the ****work on those other ones so I didn't have to.:D

Ahh, forget that - the site seems to be dead. I'll attach the file.

Darn attachment extension limitations - it's now a zipped rar.

Anyone interested in MVE2AVI? :D
I converted them all Stryke. They should be up on Fractux's FTP. If you're putting together a new build of the HOTU PM and I can send them to you over ICQ.

I may redo one of them though cause the DIVX compression seems a little high for the monologue where Bosch is in the nebula.

EDIT : Bah. I've got lots of free space on my Swooh account. I'll upload the end movies (I might as well include bastion while I'm at it) and the colossus one. The intro and the monologues are another 80MB and I don't have space for them all on Swooh but I can still transfer those over some other way later.

I'll post again when they are up.

Kas: Last I checked the FreeSpace license is in corporate limbo. Interplay do' care no mo'. Hence, still illegal, but no more so than, say, 80% of the activity that goes on online, including stuff here like using FreeSpace textures on non-FS-mod models and not crediting the companies. "Warez" would be the wrong term for this anyway, it's more of a cracking tool.

Kara: Probably a lot simpler if I just did 'em here myself. One thing, it'll take a bit less time and effort for me to compress 'em than download 'em. And I don't get to use my video editors enough as it is. And I think I'm awake at considerably different hours than you are. Thanks, though.

Anyone interested in MVE2AVI? :D
You'll need a fair bit of space free. The intro took up 4.2Gig of uncompressed space when I converted it. The end movies were about half of that.

IF you do have the time and space try converting the intro movies. I got a big audio glitch at the beginning and end and I'd like to see if the same happens to you.

Well, I already downloaded Joey's intro, and it's an acceptable size, so that one should'nt be a problem. And I can spare a few gigs for long enough to compress and get 'em on CD.

Terribly sorry to revive this thread,I'm a n00b to this site and sadly aware of it.

My problem/Question is that the Hallfight avi is coming up as telefragged, (I'm refering to the one in the first 3 pages)

Do you have anyidea why this is, and If it is explained further in, I'm sorry.I'll re-read it again.

Thanks:)

Holy cow. My ol' thread. :o

Uhm, I think Telefragged went down with VolitionWatch. There are undoubtably people who still have copies of that video, however. What format are you looking for, AVI? MVE?

:welcome:
The movies are on Fractux' FTP.  Check out the SCP(when the forum comes back ( at Sandy).

There are flamethrowers under the seats, but they are only half full, and the igniters are shot so you'll have to bludgeon with them.  Be careful if you find yourself in the ductwork.  If you see a dark shape moving toward you put whatever food you have on the duct in front of you, back away and pray that it's just Carl.  One last thing, be excellent to each other.:D
