missle launcher flares

Is there a way to make the missle launcher create a flair when it fires a missle? I had this idea to arm the Bravo with cannon balls, but it would be awsome if they would flare first. The best i can think of is create imaginary turrets behind the main ones, and arm it with flak guns, i dunno.
