I Phreaks latest copy of FS2 open but i still can get the game to run in Dx8!
I really want to see what the graphics are like on my radeon 9k but until i can use Dx8 im stuck using my integrated chip (just above Geforce2)

Have you got the launcher exe? If not, then get the newest zip from Phreak's siggy.

Run the launcher, and go to the "video" tab. That gives you DX8, DX5 and OpenGL modes to choose from. Works for me!

It tells you Direct x is not supported yet. And mine says both DX5, and 8 are unsupported... Go figure...

Is Phreaks exe an openGL exe?
DX8 doesnt give any new graphics to see yet.

It won't run DX 5 (unsupported), so when I run it in DX I presume that it's the 8 flavour...

Anyway, nuts to DX - OGL is now clip free! Woo!
