As you may or may not know, my grandmother died this morning.  I'll be taking off tomorrow for her funeral, but before I go, I'd like to request a render.

For a while, I've used the GTC Horan, Leviathan class, as a base for far too many Freespace stories.  It was named after my mom's side of the family, and is my grandmother's name, Marge Horan.  Anyway, I'd like a render of a Leviathan launching a casket toward a star.  I'll leave you to the details beyond that.

ligting needs work give it some orangish on the nose and belly and do a brighter blue for the no sun side also add a small engine glow

I hope you weren't waiting for me to reply, I went to her funeral over the last week and have had next to zero net access since I posted this thing.

Anyway, it looks nice for a start, but don't you think the sun is just a touch big?  I think it's a perspective issue, but the ship wouldn't be nearly as dark if it was close enough to the star to see stellar features.  Maybe pulling it back farther (like, a lot) would help.  Otherwise, I like it.  When can you have it finished for me?
