A friend of mine gave me a IBM Thinkpad 760L earlier today.  Before you begin flaming, I know it's old.  I know it's not good for anything else except some light word processing and maybe some old DOS games(Master of Magic anyone?).

My problem is that when it starts loading Windows it hits a certain point and the screen blacks out it makes one beep and hangs.  When I hit the power switch it makes 2 short beeps and doesn't do anything else.  Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
