So many campaigns.....
I see a huge host of campaigns out there, and recently finished the Derelict one (first try and i finished the destruction of the lucifer destroyer with only 2% health!) and hungry for more!
Problem is, i have a few restrictions on campaigns out there, and really have no idea where to get them from either.
Here are some of the problems i face while downloading new mods or campaigns
-FS2 Original
-Download limit. I cannot download anything larger than10-15MB in size per campaign. this means 90% of the mods out there are not an option
-story. I'm looking for campaigns with good stories (derelict had me on the edge of my seat for days!!). The Derelict campiagn was so good, it kept me off EF2 and other good games which i had :eek2:

If someone could point me to alist of where FS2 campaigns are located, detailing size and requirements, i would be much obliged

Yeah, save BWO will be way too big for him.

Try Warzone. IT's made by the same people that made Derelict. Try Gloriano's link to look for it.

Oh, I hear LM3 is pretty good. Click my Green Avatar to find that.

Another 56Ker I see. Slow our modems are. Big files take time the impatient ones do not have. Lead you to the Dark Side impatience can.

Soon, soon it will be ours....

Meantime, the Aeos Affair is the nuts when it comes to campaigns - ten (I think :D ) missions of sheer enjoyment. Also, try the Allied Worlds demo campaign. I don't think the full thing was ever finished, but the demo's pretty damn good on its own, and there's some really cool mods and reskins in there (white Hecate, anyone? )

mmh, when I had cable, I had an upload limit, but no download limit. That's crazy what the providers can make up to get more cash :doubt:

What I did in my 56k days was to let it run overnight, so I didn't have to wait there while it downloaded. If your connection tends to fail often, try one of the various download managers out there, which can reconnect and resume the download automatically.

Anyway, PI should fall close to your space requirement (I'm thinking around 20mb at this stage), when it's finished that is.

you had no download limit at all? :wtf: so if your modem was fast enough, you could use all of their available bandwidth? :D

What do you have? T99999?

Double T3 = roughly 100MBps

I was thinking more along the lines of actually having to force her off the computer for you to use it or having her using all your bandwith already for something else :D

Some 56kers, like me, do have the time.

They just don't have the money: especially if you're billed by the minute. Bandwidth is still expensive here.
