Ok, here's the GTVA Corvette that is going to be featured in Caught in the Middle, my project, it is 3800 polys (I know, but I have faith in the SCP team for improvements in this field, and I'm sure you all have )

Well, besides the fact that I never really liked any of the freelancer ship designs, (ok, so the Liberty Battleships are sort of cool, but that's beside the point) but the texture scheme fits overall.  I'll give it a

Yeah, some of my GTVA capitals for CIM have some FL influences from liberty and a bit of Rheinland... when I show you the Destroyer (which by the way, is in its 3rd revision...), you will wish that the smilie was still around
THe destroyer will look the most freelancerish, but still will have some of the FS feeling, like this corvette IMO

well... I don't try to convert my models yet... I'm waiting for further improvements of the code, you know... also, I dunno how to do it...

BTW, why is it that almost everybody suggests that my GTVA ships should be freighters?? They don't look like freighters to me but a battle hardened vessel (when turreted of course)?? I makes me sad that my ships look harmless (j/k)

Well it's big and lumpy. It's got a big hunch-back. So it's ugly. But then warships aren't designed to be asthetic, are they? It certainly looks buisness like. The height makes it seem quite imposing. Plenty of room for tasty broadside weapons too

You know what you ought to do, though - see that glowy yellow bit on the front? Turn that into a small hanger. Instant 1337ness

Otherwise it is a cool-looking ship. But if it is a freighter, why is it GTCv?

Well... that's not a Rheinland Battleship, but the middle part has something to do with it (BTW in the destroyer you will say "is that a Liberty BS?? )

I'll be honest by saying that this wasn't the kind of feedback I expected... I'll change the front of the ship, and then show it to you

Model is excellent, texturing is superb.

Mind you, some will not like the design, but as they say - BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER.

And I must confess I like the design a lot, but always felt that some of the front part wasn't "going along" with the rest... I'll look into it, tomorrow

I say it looks like a freighter becase it looks like it's nothing but engines and a big ole cargo pod on the back, if you did something else there is would look less freighterish.
though when I say it looks like a freighter, it looks like a very good freighter
