Kudos to the Inferno team!
I just got to the mission where GTVA forces are about to destroy the EASD above Earth, and I must say, it was spectacular the first time I warped in, seeing the Earth so low below. The music went perfectly with the mission's atmoshpere, and it was just like out of those sci-fi books of the massive battles right above Earth!

The earth looked terrible here, but that was probably due to a fried vid card and very low detail settings :D

The Earth model uses 4 512*512 textures so requires the texture size reg fix to be added.

 
Yeah, I put pretty much all my effort into making that mission. We needed to make up for some of the lacklustre missions earlier in the campaign. The first attempt at that mission was just a straight fight between the Nemesis and the Indy, was pretty easy and lasted barely five minutes. I actually chose and tweaked the music into FS2-friendly format before I got 10% of the way through building the actual mission.

There'll be a similarly climactic ending to chapter 2...
