Ok, it won't let me get past the mission "Onslaught". I did beat the campaign, but that was with a different computer. But get this: After I died 5 times and it came up with the dialog box asking me if I wanted to skip the mission, I clicked advance to the next mission. Guess what it did? It sent me right back to be briefed on the exact same mission again. In addition to that, when I did actually complete the objectives (The Cypher got out with about 83% health, the Minos got out without a scratch, the two cruisers were disabled out of range) and return to base when it tells me to, it then says that I failed the mission. Even though I know I didn't and the debriefing said that I didn't fail it. Why is it doing this?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Most puzzling indeed. I'm afraid your only solution is to play Inferno instead. ;)

The worst campaign ever. Dirty background and has more bug remained than fixed.

Worst ever? What are you smoking? Derelict rules, it'd just be nice if it'd had a bit more beta time.

That's the only one I have ever played, and if you call it the best, I can imagine the other ones.

Derelict nothing because bugs ... bugs ... bugs ....
The story is really good, but playability must be the main focus. You worth nothing with the story if you cannot proceed to the next mission, because the missions weren't tested more than once.

Derelict is 44 missions of nothing my friend. Okay, you don't like it, and yes it's buggy, but you cannot dismiss the single biggest project so far released as nothing. In case you didn't know, most of the more seasoned pilots around here have traditionally considered Derelict the 'official' FS2 expansion. Stop bashing it.

Weird. I have never EVER had any problems with Derelict. It's worked perfectly every time I've played it (4 or 5 times now).

You are lucky if you haven't encountered any of the bugs. Try the lottery next time. :D

The Gorgon Cannon was so stupid... 1 Zepthyrus, 3 Centaurs, 5 Elysiums.

Stupid? It seemed pretty convincing at the time, was a clever way to get by without an entirely new model, and I hardly had time to notice anyways.

I don't see you comming up with anytihng better...

Go you!

Sarcasm aside, you're entitled to your own opinion and everything, but keep in mind, Derelict was the pinnacle (and perhaps still maybe, although Inferno is now out ;)) of Freespace Campaigns for a lot longer than you or I have been around.
