A little help with something boring
Hey guys.
As you (hopefully) know, I'm working on a port of the Freespace campaign to the Freespace 2 engine. Something that I think would be nice is icons for all the FS1 weapons, but I don't have the time or patience to change the colors on them all. Can someone please build ANIs out of these btimaps?  http://www.3dap.com/hlp/hosted/fsport/working/wepicons.zip

Oops, forgot the Avenger. I'll just do that myself.
Edit: Forgot the Phoenix, too. I'll upload them as well.

How do FS1 command brief ANIs show up in FS2?

Also... on your downloads page, you say that the subspace palette file is necessary to play subspace missions. This isn't true-- you only need that file to EDIT subspace missions.

What's the "player Knossos" bug?

FS1 CB anims can be specified in FRED 2, just like those in the main FS2 missions, so long as you copy the cbanims.vp file from your Freespace folder to your FS2 Data folder. I tried playing the subspace mission without that file and FS2 crashed. The "Player Knossos" bug made the Knossos appear on the Player Ships list, even though it wasn't. It crashed the game a lot, and was a result of too many table entries.

This fs to fs2 was discussed on the vbb a while ago but the general consensus was that that would be illegal, considering someone could just not play fs1 and get that. (volition has to think about money too)

Not what I meant. How do they LOOK once they're in FS2? You know, what with being a different size and shape?

 Hey if it helps at all, i dumped the entire FS1 interface into the Freespace main dir... It worked fine!! there were some bugs but it looked like fs1!!!  btw i also have all the tbls for fs1 weapons if u want em!
