The SF Ladon is a new shivan heavy fighter similar to the Basilisk.



mesh: Aldo (it is out of his 3rd modeldump)
texturing: me (it has NO UV-mapping)

I'm using it in my campaign so I don't release it at the moment.
What do you think?

What I can see I like but the pic is a little dark.

BTW by no UV mapping do you mean that it hasn't be wrapped in Lith etc? Cause it obviously has a UV map or you wouldn't have been able to texture it.

As a general rule, I'm not a fan of non unwraped fighters/bombers, but you seem to have pulled it off well enough. Kudos.

Actually, I pulled that fighter out of the dump as well, but I haven't got anyone to play with it for me yet.

So in other words,

Use things like:

Rashmika
Krohda
Gatha
Dukha
Mithra
Nadisu
etc
etc

(all have a real meaning)

When I first glanced at it, I though it said Laden, I don't think he's quite up there with Dragons and Manticores yet

Nice model by the way! Though I personally find it just a tiny bit too 'curvy' but that's just personal taste

As for the fighter: I can't really tell what shape it is. Is it asymmetrical? Where are the gun mounts?

Now that I see that is not asymetrical, I see that it resembles muchly the Tamarian cruiser from early season 5 of Star Trek TNG.  Of course, they must have used that design for half a dozen species thoughout the galaxy on that show.
