I just got an ide for shivan base. I'll make it out of two spheres. I'll ling em togeder and add many spikes. On tip of every spike will be beam cannon. and inside will be maze and inside reactor. So like mission in any camp. would be to destroy reactor, you have to go through whole maze. and many turrets inside maze. so even harder. =) so what do you all think. It would be about 8-14 km long.

kinda like the second death star attack run? I like it! Probably don't put a beam on every spike unless there won't be that many spikes, though, because otherwise that thing will be way too powerful! Good idea though, go for it!

yes good idea, and some spikes with holes for missles. and bomb lunchers(if they are possible)

you can have them launch fusion mortars, but i dunno about cyclops or helios.  i know this because fenris cruisers and leviathans use fusion mortars in their bottom turret
