i think i know why.. it's going to be a _bitach_ to get around it but i think it's possible

issue resolved - bad documentation
it should be "/data"
"/data/tables"

etc

i understood it as "/data" and "/tables"

Yeah. That one got me when I first started using FS2_open. I did mention it on the documentation thread but everyone ignored me. :rolleyes:

Sorry for not being here. A ****load of crap got thrown in my face a few weeks back( the usual, schoolwork,brakeups, family 'reunions'). Im getting om track now and should be able to get some work done. Stay tuned...

remember: this is just a problem with the DOCUMENTATION (ie a Readme **** up) do not modify game code -as it does work
