guess i shoulda left that up there after all oh well. Freespace was freaking out when I was trying to play the campaign. it was giving an out of memory message every time i loaded the campaign.

So i reinstalled and deleted my original profile. Fixed.

I've got a campaigny-type problem as well: on 3.5.5_E, I can't play the main FS2 campaign any more.  When I try to launch "Surrender Bellisarius", it crahses bak to desktop complaining about a parse code error to do with the sexp "rand".

I have one question... what the bloody hell is going on?

I'd be inclined to extract the mission file and fart around with it in FRED. Might not be an important event....
