these are the proposed models for my campaigns so far, i intend on haveing about 10 more total.  I need help testing these models in fs2, converting them for fs2, perhaps help with cuting down poly counts.  I wanna fly these things someday, as im sure many of you would like to as well.  So help me out here.

Terran, Vasudans have dodgy organic looks. When are these models being released? I'd like to use them for some non-FS stuff.

ok, if you wanna use em, fine, but make sure my name gets included somewhere, and change the name appropriately if its not for fs2.  I really need help with texturing and converting, i dont have truespace, the trial version wont save, and i cant afford to spend the 100 dolars on it.  I got the textures if someone can put the textures on.

DAMN! Those images are BIG!

Yeah, from what I could see (they bogged down my browser, they're so oversized), VERY cool. Even without texes- and that's fairly rare. Polys?

Hee... quoting myself.   I think they look like capships because they're long and thin, like most capships in FS. Fighters tend to be wide with pronounced gunpoints.

Note the word 'tend,' not 'always.' A long thin craft would look really weird spinning around in a dogfight, don't you think?

ok, polys range from 300 on the first, to 1052 on the second, with the others falling in between.  The 4th one is a destroyer, not a corvette, the 5th one is bomber, designed to be fast, as well as carry a whollop.  Here are my first shivan models.  In order: Outpost, Heavy Assault Fighter, Medium Bomber, Interceptor.

Again, i cant stress how much i need a texturer.  If you want to work on them email me at [email protected]  No need to keep up with my pace, just someone who can texture them.  (i dont have truespace, demo doesnt save, and i cant afford the full version.)  If you want to texture, you can do it however you want, i'll only point out a few objects so you can texture them appropriately (missile bays/cockpit/fighterbays)  Help me please, i want to see these things fly someday, and im sure yall would too.

I'm not kidding about the one subobject thing, you have a good eye for shape and form but you can't make a ship out of half a dozen primitives and hope FS will render it anywere near what you are hopeing for.

The Ceres looks WipeOut-ish. All in all, they're f*cking excellent.

Tell it to my NodeShip. It's got.....3 small cylinders, one big mesh-editted cylinder and (I think) four boxes intesecting the 3 small cylinders. Works fine....uh apart from it doesn't have any turrets (no truespace) and the guns don't work (?) ....and it needs engine subsystems....and I need to attach a small node model to the back. Other than that it works fine. ModView kicks up some flipped normals but FRED2 and ingame work perfect.
