i can't get onto PXO, and yes, i have no mods installed, and i'm not using FSO.

when i click the camp room in mp, i see th PXO screen, saying "no channel selected" and my comp freezes.
just another newbie without any modding, FREDding or real programming experience

It's been a long I played on PXO. Maybe it is temporarly down. Under refreshing, or something else imaginable. :)

I assumed it shut down with the Boards.

All that should be ok as default, unless you've lost it while playing around with mods and such (then edit by hand or reinstall).
