[Unknown Target]

Ok, get this: I order a Radeon 9600, non-pro edition, with 128 MB of DDR RAM, right?
Well, it just came in, and I try to slap it into my machine, but find the connector is reversed (it's AGP)!
I look at the card and my mobo, and my mobo has the slot in the back, nearer to the back of my case, while the Radeon has the connector farther forward.
I went to the ATi website, to check out to see if maybe it's a newer version of the AGP slot, and guess what? IT'S NOT! I look through all the diagrams, and ALL of them have the connector near the back, closer to the back of the case!

But instead of the slot on the Radeon being at the back of the connector, it's at the front!

Are you sure it's a Radeon 9600? When I last tried to upgrade my computer I bought a Radeon 9600 Pro. When I got home I found that someone had nicked the card and replaced it with a Rage 128. I was a little annoyed needless to say!

I'm not saying it was a card specific issue. I'm saying some bastard at the shop I bought it from stole the card. Could have happened to you.

I got my money back but I was pretty annoyed considering the only reason I bought the card from a shop rather than mail order was so that I could have it immediately.

No, but the card is straight from warehouse, ordered from CompUSA, I think it was. As soon as it got in stock, it was sent to me, so there was no middleman.
