English is the best communicative language in my opinion, but I love the artistic nature of Japanese and Chinese writing, it has a charm that makes all these straight lines etc look ugly :D

Oh, yes. And it rocks. ;)

You know, that reads almost just like the list of capabilities I planned for SPIRE when I first wrote her up. :) The first three were my brother's idea, but module support and integration with other languages were really important for the way I knew SPIRE was going to be built - brick by brick, adding new capabilities as soon as I imagined their need in a render. I also have the rudimentary ability to use PhotoShop plugins with my 2D engine, which has helped me immensely. Basically though, Ulundel, my brother chose it. :nod:

He couldn't have picked better unless you or he demanded speed, over flexibility. :D

I prefer power at the cost of patience (which is not really a cost at all, IMHO) over weak speed. ;)

C++.

As soon as I saw this thread, I thought 'C++'.  Just typical that someone beat me to it...

BTW, will Visual C++ 6 code work under VC.NET?  I hope it's not compulsory to use the .NET framework yet, because I like my nice familiar Windoze API but I'm buying VC.NET soon.

Quite possibly the best language in the world (Yea right galore, dies down),

but still,

The fact that some latin hedgehogs couldn't figure it out doesn't mean it is difficult. Not by a long shot. It is easily pronounced (once you know how, and you read what you see. Yep, that 's right, NO special pronounciations like englisn)

So, for JFK letters of the alphabet as follows... :)

I should have known that Greek would not be supported.
Show up fine on my machine though!

1st Language: English. I read in it, i write in it, and i think in it.

2nd Language: Hindi. Born with it, lived with it and enjoy it because few westerners (or other easterners for that matter) can understand it out of India :D

I tried learning Hindi from a couple of my friends, once. I think I know how to say "live long, my friend". Don't know how to type it, though... :D
