You can get maya still, you just can't get Maya 3. And apparently that's the only version that the plugins work well under. However, from visible progress it seems that a way around that has been found.

Well, whatever it is, if someone here MANAGES to get his hands on MAYA 3, can I kindly ask if he can convert all the models from Homeworld 2 into 3D Studio Max 5 format? I would very much like to render a picture of the Hiigaran Battlecruiser. It is such a beauty!!!:p

these models and all models from the mod are made by maya 3. Gunshy (a member of the mod) has maya 3 and i am getting a copy soon.

So dont worry.

There's a HOD to MS3D to HOD converter in the works ... so if we're lucky, we won't need a Maya ...

Every search for LWO and Homeworld2 turns up dead links. Dvil, if you know the link to the LWO conversions can you post it? IF not no problem, I am sure within a year or so someone will (LOL)!

Once ive made a solid platform of code, weapons, and base effects, i can then make updates which u can install as the mod is being made.
