Dude, you have no idea how short we are on good shivan designs.  Try your hand at T/V stuff to most certainly, but don't stop with the shivan stuff :nod:

Very very nice model! I think the Scarab (Though Kraken tends to leap to mind when I see it) looks Very nasty, sort of like a mini-Sath :D

btw, if you know what's good for you ( :p ), you'll make the ishtar a cruiser and the scarab ( I suggest ogre as a name, btw ) as a transport/dropship/whatever of that size. Would be more original and useful than yet another destroyer :)

Yeh i didnt take much time with the names, i just put em in the pic then uploaded it quickly. Name picking and class alocation will come later, once i work out the story behind them.

I thought at first the second one (scarab) was a heavy fighter, but turned out it's a destroyer. :wtf:

And your Homeword 2 mod might actually be the thing that pushes me to buy that game. Commanding the Freespace capital ships is something I wanted to do for a while.

Dont worry about the classifications, any of them could be fighters, cruisers, destroyers, anything. Havnt worked it out yet.

Way nice - I do think it looks a bit funny just having those three prongs and having that as the whole ship. :)

It's a Shivan 'Thing'! (as in, that silly hand with no body in those 'Adams Family' shows):lol:

Suggestion: Build out the back, put turrets on the tips of each arm, and you could have a Hunter-Killer cruiser, only good at killing big ships. Kind of a cruiser version of the Sathanas!
