In England? Well, you'd better hope it gets cheaper by then...

Currently a homeschooled highschool student. I think I'll be taking some post-secondary classes. And for my future job. I'd like to take collage courses in IT/computer tech, and start my own computer company. Like Dell or something, only I'd build good computers. :p
I have big plans, now if only I could see them through.

Why do so many people want boring jobs in IT. Atleast a few years ago the money was good, but now even that's not true. I ike computers and am quite knowledgable (hardware, networking, graphics etc) but I really think it's kind of boring to be working as a System Admin somewhere.

Currently : Last semester of Highschool. Actually, I was offcially finished last June, but I decided to come back for one more semester.

Plans: Go to Sheridan College (very well know for it's graphics program) and become a graphic and/or web designer. Start a company, make lots of money...you know the standard stuff..

Oh and BTW, for anyone who has done their CCNA: how hard is it to pass? I took (and finished, last year) a 3 year Cisco course in Highschool, but I'm not really sure how much of that has stuck. I ill probably pick up a CNNA certification book and study from that, so I expect atleast some of the stuff I've learned will coe back to me. So, how hard?

I am presently attending Oregon State University, working towards a degree (most likely a Masters) in Computer Engineering. I plan on going into microprocessor design. Though with all the tech jobs moving to China (or India) I might as well learn Mandarin while I'm here.

"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Well, money won't be the only thing I earn. I'll be shaping kids' lives (I like kids - can't wait to start a family). ;)

And yeah, I know, teachers hardly make anything in terms of money. But I can be content with little.
