Thank you for responding everyone.

Already existing Herc3(Ares reskin):
I'd like to say it "Herc2-B","Herc2-D", or some,
because its base modules are the same as Herc2.
This is only just my guess.
If the FS community want to say Ares reskin as Herc3,
I will change mine to Herc4.

mikhael,
I am looking forward to see your hi-poly Herc3!

Galemp,
I've not seen OTT pages.
I will see the pages from now.

If it didn't have those stick things it'd be 100x better.

They're all publicly released, too, somewhere...

ohh .. sorry. I wanted to write III. I know that the Herc 2 is canon. :)

I love that fighter!!! I just downloaded it and haven't evenunzipped it but from the pics it looks sweet! I just finished watching macorss zero 1&2 so I was stoked when I saw you HercIII!!!!!!

KEEP IT UP!

As for Orion Phase2 HURRY! lol

I'd like permission to steal teh HercIII for REF... I'd like to give Robotech a fighter  that is extreamly fast in atmosphere and yet has a retro pre-protoculture look and HercIII looks like it would fit nicely? (if no I understand)...
Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a wide target selection !

I don't remember where, but I'm sure Volition aknowledged that freespace design was much influenced by animesa already, so it's only senisible to keep up with this trend, methink :)

Really? Man, I'd be really interested to see where they said that - I always suspected it a little, but never had heard the words before. No wonder I like their designs so much. :D

Hey that ship looks realy cool...maybe not like the common HERC design what is much mor bulk, but like a sleak and strong fighter...realy like it.

Hey, that looks really good, but it doesn't much owe to the Hercules design lineage.  Perhaps it needs a different name.  Its definately more sleek and fighter looking than Hercs are.

That's a good model, but it looks oh-so-unHerky. When I think "Hercules", I think a stubby box of death. This thing looks more like a Perseus update.

What are you talking about? It's the perfect evolution to the Hercules line. Just as the Herc progressed from the original to the Herc II, so this Herc III is expanding upon that (and the Ares) for a new generation.

Considering the thickness of the nebulae you fly into in FS2, streamlining is a good thing.
