It's currently a TS scene (165kb). I can convert it to 3DMax object..

B.t.w.w- the Iowa is a friggin large Battleship (7.5 km, over 90 turets), but It will DEFINATELY have to be re-sized..

TS, never heard of that. If you can convert it to any format the MS can read then i can convert it to LW and resize it

Just a thought, and it's not really my thread to ask, but seeing as now this misunderstanding has been cleared up, maybe it would look a little less accusing if the thread name was changed to Freelancer uses our ships or something? It's up to Admin, obviously, but I think any members of the Freelancer community seeing a thread titled thus will not be kindly disposed towards us Or in English, it might piss a few peeps off

TS = Truespace. Very commonly used in the FS2 community as all models have to be turned into TS .cob files before we can convert them into the .pof format that FS2 uses.

I have Croassroards (a great converter), so you can take your pick!

b.t.w. - you think I should add more detail? 3900 polys for the hull - is it enough for FL?

Oh yeas, 3900 is a great poly count, jsut incase we make it pilotable, or if there are a number of them on teh screen they wont chold eolder computers. MS3d can read 3ds, so convert it to that  and eamil it to [email protected]

There can hardly be a number of them....

The ship will have to be textured, for FL has beter textures than FS2. Allso, It will have to be big (even in FL) and it will need new turrets... I'll post pics of turrets... Or better yet, I'll send you 3ds models of the turrets...

wouldn't 7.5km be about the size of a planet in FL?  all i know is that the average distance between successive tradelanes is ~7km

oh yeah scaled down to larger than the RH goliath. I still ahve to talk it over with the team, i dont know if we'll eb allowed to use it, but i will be looking at it soon.
