That, to me, is a good candidate for a carrier for TV war.

Think about it. Plain hull, like carriers of today use, looking like Carrier NOT Fs-Y, the kind of thing tht other ships could have originated from. Maybe that is just me, but I sense the beginning of something here.

Last Year I had converted a model of a cetain ship not commonly known as a WC ship until Lars told me and signed me up so I deleted it and the link to the pic for the better glory of the project. I had no idea the show where it came from before I was told but was delighted to find out and that it WAS gonna be used for the mod.

  I had to re-read your post cause I was gonna say you are obviously aware of the mod so we ARE gonna use  WC ships for FS2.

   Maybe a re-interpritation like, "We currently have a WC mod in progress so any ships from the genre should not be used in OTHER mods unless you contact Tolwyn or Lars first to discuss it"...

Don't take this the wrong way, but do Tolwyn or Lars own the licensing rights to Wing Commander?

No, Electronic Arts does.

Therefore, I do not think anyone can say that WC ships, or those inspired by them, *should not* be used in FS, nor do I think the Baron need discuss *his* work with anyone, or get permission from anyone here.

To expect otherwise is just plain rude, IMO.

Doesn't look much like the concordia to me, anyway, but I haven't seen the entire movie, and the concordia shots of the part I've seen weren't clear.
Anyway, as Steak said, looks like something out of a matsumoto series. Give it horns and it would look a bit like the Death Shadow .

Good model, best misleading thread title ever.

Incidentially, it would kick far greater ass if you made the substructure (the bit inside the ribbing) on the lower part a different, darker tex. Maybe pipes or something.
