Anyone remember that old show Sea Quest with the big submarine that kinda looked like a shark fish type thing I think.. and they had a talking dolphin named Darwin and one of the crew members had gill implants and he'd go and swim with Darwin in the water.. man, I remember watching that when I was younger.. but I don't remember much.... was it even any good or was I just a child fascinated by a talking dolphin? It probably sucked since it didn't seem to get many seasons... at least I only remember it getting a few. Someone jarr my memory! :)

The first season of SeaQuest DSV I liked, but it turned into crap IMHO with the first episode of the second season. After watching two or three of those episodes, I decided my time would be better spent watching Babylon 5. (They were on at the same time on the same day where I live when both were first being aired)

As for the Wing Commander movie, on its own if it wasn't Wing Commander I think its a decent movie. But I was expecting to see Wing Commander, things like the original WC1 Tiger's Claw, Rapiers, etc. not the reinvented versions. Plus some of the added backstory such as the Pilgrims I disliked. The navigation AI portion of that backstory was interesting, and I felt did actually add to the WC universe for the timeperiod. Call me a purist but I wanted to see the classic WC1 designs.

I liked the first series of Seaquest, but when they brought in the aliens, and the new crew, it just got weird, though some of the eps in the later series were pretty decent.

Ok Well Matrix counts like Sci Fi. Of course with some more action.
Star Wars? Nah not really.

Oh and I never saw Babylon 5 or Star Trek or any of those. :p

Well, I was going to agree with Venom, but you raise a good point.

Anyone saw Starship Orion? That was a trashy german 60's sci-fi series where all Stasrships looked like flying saucers. Nowadays, when you watch it, parts of it are so funny...it absolutely rules.:D

Okay, who can name which show this is from?

Note-- might be a trick question.

Space Academy by any chance?

:D

anyhow, ST:DS9 is pretty descent, but don't get me started on ent. SG, well, it's fun, but not really good. B5, it was never completely aired here, and always on inhuman times. S:AAB, great, a pity that it's only one season. Starshtip Troopers, well, the animated series was reasonable, but the movie was more fun IMHO.

and movies, well, ST: First Contact was pretty damn good, and Lost in Space is fun to watch too.

Right. Jason of Star Command was a sort-of spinoff from Space Academy.
