Damn what an impressive game.  Now that it runs smoothly (and I mean, smoothly like the bottom of newborn).

Only gripe... why do the covenant speak english? And sound like castrated pr0n stars?

The elites voices are just slowed down and reversed words. There are three Halo books (all should be on amazon) called "The Fall Of Reach" "The Flood" and "First Strike", released in that respective order.
What frequency are you getting? Is it noise or sweet sweet music? - Refused - Liberation Frequency.

They are? Where did you see that? I figured it was some random roaring... I don't know if first strike is out yet though... TFOR and TF are out obviously...

EDIT: FS comes out Dec. 2nd...

The one odd thing about grunts is, if they get a plasma grenade stuck to them, or are being eaten by infection forms, they yell, "Not again!"... I fail to see how either could happen more then once...

I was trying to find out where I read that the elites speech is reversed, found this instead. Pretty funny.

The elites speech is reversed, try finding a sound file of one talking and reverse it then speed it up.

well, i got one, reversed it, but i can only increase speed in incriments of 100%... and that makes it way too fast...

Seems the english speaking of the lower castes is an easter egg referring to Bungie's earlier Marathon games.

Those references are literally all over the place/game.
