[Fractux]

OK, well so far this is the result of my work on my first fighter. It has turned out decent, and right now I'm just learning the ropes of texturing using the GIMP.

I'm not planning on putting this to use, but I am releasing it here for anyone who may want it.

It's going to take me a long time to draw the textures, and they are not going to be top notch since it's my first attept.

Here is everything I've done so far.

I like the front part, I like the top view, and I like your ideas for texturing. However, that double hull is a bad concept to begin with, is modeled a bit awkwardly, and looks out of place with the rest of the fighter. I'd suggest just eliminating the lower part and thickening the upper wing. I'd suggest messing around with the downward wing curve and the gun shape too.

I like it . The textures are very nice AND different too. I would not change a thing. Go with it. Cannot wait to see it flying.

looks very HWish, I didn't like HW though
it's far too low poly and the textures are flat, the cocpit is particularly uninspired,
not much nice to say about it, generaly I don't pos, but I'm in a fairly tired odd mood and I felt like pointing out that it looked like you had a history with HW or soething
it does have some marginaly interesting conepts but I don't think they were brough to any were near there potental

It needs smoothing a bit. It's a nice concept although I'm not sure how well it fits in with the FS2 universe. The front does but the back is straight off either the Whitestar or a Romulan Warbird. Take your pick.

Take the 'dip' from the middle of it's spine and finish the textures and it'll be poifect.

Actually that's one of the coolest models I've ever seen here.
I like it's F-22 Raptor look; it looks very interesting, the textures need more color though, but the model is almost perfect IMO.

it does look like something that would be developed in the next few years.  it would be perfect as an atmospheric fighter or strike aircraft
