Its been a few days since I've been around. The reason for that is my system was really messed up. Many things went wrong so I had to do a system restore. I backed up my stuff onto cds but the disks couldn't be read, so I had to reinstall everything, half the stuff I got off the net so I had to look all of that up and get it again. I'm not done yet.

System **** ups suck. Thus I now have the OS on a seperate partition to my important stuff. Untidy, but it'll save me lots of grief next time I drop it down the stairs or some other bollocks.

and that's why i always backup the small bits of important stuff i have. i've got it all on some CD's, and if windows fubars up, i'll use RedHat to burn the important new stuff, or i'll use Knoppix if it's my laptop.
just another newbie without any modding, FREDding or real programming experience
