Agreed - there's no way that's plausible! I spotted at least two occasions on the first couple of levels that would have resulted in a loss of a life!

This looks quite blatantly fake. He gets far too close to many enemies. And look at the Fighter level, he's jumping before the next platform can even be seen most of the time. Either it's been doctored or he's got some sort of Jedi pre-cog skills.

Now look at this clip - is it me or does he catch a canonball right in the gut?

Because you can't memorize the levels for some reason? Uh...

But yeah, I noticed he seemed to be running into a lot of enemies too.

Those Rocky Wrenches are pretty deadly, their wrenches will take you out if you get winth a few pixels of them. From what I've experienced of SMB3, he got way to close to them at least, if not the other enemies as well. Someone ought to show the video to Shigsy, see what he thinks.

But here's a thought - surely the big N wouldn't have designed the levels so you could run through them like that on purpose... would they?

If you knew where everything was in advance and had practiced the level many, many times... sure, why not. They're quite linear and don't change, you know.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying I've played a fair bit of Mario 3 and I wouldn't have expected to get that close to the bad guys and survive. I'm sure Meag will agree with me.

a lot of times you can move really fast and come too close to a enemy or weapon and still not die.

Ive went done it manny times.
Put this in your profile if you know someone who is fighting, has survived, or has died from an awp no scope.

He couldn't have done that
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Meh, there were a couple instances in the world 8 tank levels where he should have died.

He also should have died later on in that level where a cannon shell hit him in the nose, but it died as if he stepped on it.

And the Bowser fight, he should have been hit in one part where Bowser is in the air higher than he is.

Still, it's not like it couldn't be done, just irking to see that it is. Especially after spending so many hours as a young lad trying to beat the game.

Open the movie up in Windows Movie Maker, wind it through to the frame you want and hit the 'save frame' button. Horrible little program but it has its uses.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill
