First word in FS2 - Thirty-Two

Last Word - Off

Which ship class is the last vessel you'll see when playing through the campaign?

Last to encounter for the first time?  Or last ship you see in the cutscenes?  Or the last ship you see in game?

Anyway, the answer to that is either the Meson Bomb or the Shivan Comm Node (can't for the life of me remember which of those comes first) or a Deimos and a Moloch, depending on how you interpret the question.  If it's the third option, then it's whatever fighter you have selected for the last mission.

As for FS1, the Ursa. Ulysses, Thoth, Ursa.

BR, you've correctly answered three questions in a row and haven't asked one yet.

I can't think of one stumpifying enough. Not yet, at any rate.

The last ship you would see in the last mission of FS2 would probably be the Deimos ship that is parked next to the node, IF you escape. If you dont, then, I dunno. You see yourself dying. ;7

You forget the hordes of fighters, escaping ships, and even Sathani around Capella.  And since you can jump out in any direction, it's hard to say what you'd see there.  However, since you'd either see yourself hit with the supernova or yourself jumping out, so your fighter seems like the best choice if that's how you interpret the question.

That would be, for me, an Erinyes. ;) But otherwise, I go with the Deimos corvette.

Thank you very much. Now, next FS2 question.

What was the name of the station that was self destructed in Capella?

The correct answer to my question was "SCv Moloch" if you answer the way the question was supposed to be :)

So you were refering to the cutscenes.  The question was a bit ambiguous.  It's where the Moloch and Deimos are duking it out as the shockwave hits, and they are first charred beyond recognition and then blasted into smaller bits.  I seem to remember them both being in that scene together, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Well, although in the FMV they practically disintegrate at the same time, the moloch is in front of the deimos (deimos gets hit by shockwave first).  So I suppose you could say that you see the moloch last :D

Eishtmo and I were talking about this just the other day. :)

Prof. J. Whiteside, 2213, McPherson's Multipaedia, pages two-hundred something.  It's in the FSRef Bible.

EDIT: Okay, so I got the page numbers mixed up with the date...

Inter-system travel via subspace is another matter entirely.  The end points of inter-system subspace jumps are limited to the naturally-occuring focal points of subspace, also known as “nodes.”  These nodes were initially discovered by Prof. J. Whiteside (see McPherson’s Multipaedia  (2557 ed.), pp 1132-1140).  Only between two subspace nodes is the fabric of subspace strong enough to support inter-system travel.  The defense of the physical locations surrounding such nodes proved to be a central part of the 14-year Terran-Vasudan War.

*Claps for Goob*

Alright... one more semi-doosey:

Terrans use Meson particles to create a bomb. The shivan have been utilizing these particles since Terrans/Vasudans first encountered them. How?

Goober will probably get this one... ;)

Oh, and for the guy/gal looking for a link to the Official Ref Bible:

http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/fs2files.php

It's the first downloadable thang on there.
