i'd like a clearer shot at the gray raider. and I think the engine exhaust needs a brighter core. otherwise, perfect.

points of betternes imho:

1) you need more stars
2) that flare looks like a sniper target scope (bad) maybe replace with a bigger flare and a different color
3) i just dont understand rest of the picture
4)the purple thing if its a beam its ok if its engine exhaust make it more like a cone less like a beam

Well I didn't want to make the ship look too powerful, that's why I gave it a faint engine plume. Let's just say the pilot just released the forward thrust control to avoid collision

As for the grey ship, it's your average delta UFO ( so it's called a Delta ) :


The thing can fly in a direction and face another one at the same time, do 90° turns w/o any pb, etc etc.

edit: I don't like when there's too many stars, that's a personal choice.
the flare: mmh, yeah, didn't think of that. In fact, that's a circle + a star, and depending on the distance, they're not at the same size. happened to look that way here. Not a big deal, I've seen real photos with that kind of flares, if it exists in reality, I have no pbs with it
The purple glow is the underside of the delta fighter.
