[Beowulf]

Made this bomber/gunboat today. Alternatively it could be used for a torpedo bomber. The two short wings should be used to hold the primary weapon loadout. It has one multi-part turret.

I'm not sure I grouped the turret right--it's been a long time since I had made a multipart turret--so if you find a good texture I'll try to work out the turret. Other than that, it's yours, just find a good texture for it. I've fully UV mapped it, that's what you see on the renders. You'll of course need LithUnwrap for the real thing, but here is the colored representation of the map: http://nsys.web1000.com/01bomber01tex.jpg

I do like it, but, perhaps I'd model actual guns, and the dual cockpit thing looks kind of strange. Also the multipart looks really small compared to the rest of the ship (and the cockpit(s)). That's another thing, perhaps make the cockpits smaller (look at some of the :V: ships). And if it's a gunboat, then perhaps it should have a few more turrets.

That, my friend, is a nice model.  It has just that right ammount of FS mixed with just the right ammount of HW.  You wouldn't have been inspired by Halo, by chance?

The turret looks much better now, and the cockpits are fine where they are.  I asked if you were inspired by Halo because that looks pretty similar to the Pelican Dropship.
