Freespace 1 Music Curiosity

I was just wondering, does the music from Freespace 1 "Strike" (track 8) remind anyone else of the Miami Vice theme? Those drums always bring the theme into my mind. I think it's a cool tune, one of the better ones, but its kinda funny too.
