[DSA-Gabriel]

I was viewing all the new ships and reading their info and when I switched to weapons Freespace 2 crashed to the desktop.

Can this be fixed or did I do something wrong?

It's one of the sad things about release 1, there was never a weapons page, it's always crashed to the desktop so dont worry, you're not alone mate.

Well, that ok then, at least I didn't do anything wrong.

Still loving the Campaign, much better then the standard FS2 Campaign. (But that might also be because I played that one many times over)

But you should talk to Woomeister and co. Im sure they would thank you dearly. The weapons page is defientyl one of Inferno's downpoints.

i have the large inferno vp in a mod directory in my main fs2 directory and i use the -mod tag in fs open when i want to play it- hope that helps

AHA!! There's my problem. I use the bog-standard Freespace 2:(.

I've heard of this FS-Open, but i don't really now what it is:confused:.

Perhaps someone could fill me in?

Huh? The weapons page has always worked. If you are getting crashes it's because you need to CREATE A NEW PILOT ON THE STARTUP SCREEN, for the umpteenth time. ^_^

Only when using retail FS2.  This is fixed in fs2_open.
