Here are a couple of ships that will be making appearences in Twisted Infinities, and before that, it's demo - Operation Raganorak.

impressive. seriously, thought, most of the civillian stuff I have seen never really matched freespace as a game. This really looks good and fits well with the game coloration and stuff.

Someone explain to me the reasoning behind having two parallel forward hulls with no cross connections. Then explain to me why, if there are cross connections, why the hulls are separate in the first place.

Do you have some anntena fixation? Why do all those ship look like the Andorians designed them?

That's just how it turned out. I think it looks a bit better than a single chunk of hull up the front. even if it is extreemly illogical.
Neither ship will play a large part at all in the campaign. They're mainly background eyecandy.  the more important ships are much better in all aspects, but will remain secrets.

Trashman: Errr.... anntena fixation? Andorians?

Karma: Where's the texture warping? or do you mean in general? The satis 2 was a nightmare to do in lith. It needed both individual face projections to get no warping, and at the same time large sections of flowing textures. so i had to compromise between them. Could be better, but then again it will be undergoing HTL upgrades soon. maybe that will help

Flipside: Can't wait for the full rendered atlantis shots come.

and Trashman, if you mean they have lots of antenna, well they should - you base some of your designs off ocean going ships,so you'll know how many modern day ones have
in space i'd assume the need for communications would be a lot greater anyway.
besides, they add character to the ships. - what would you put in their place?

It's not the antennas themselvs as an idea (I have them on most of my ships too)...it's ...well ...they look too insect-like..beeing bent and their texture and all...
